Easter Sunday is this weekend and we thought some of you might need last minute ideas. Luckily we’ve got your back.
We’ve given you plenty of reasons to shop in Montclair so why not bring the family for brunch too. The Palazzo (www.palazzonj.net/easterbrunch.html) is featuring a hot and cold buffet from 11am-3pm.
It may be tempting to cross the GW Bridge if you live close to the city, but The Clinton Inn in Tenafly (www.clinton-inn.com/palmers_crossing.shtml) is offering 2 brunch sittings and a dinner menu at their Palmer’s Crossing Restaurant.
The Hilton Short Hills (www.hiltonshorthills.com/dining/sunday-brunch) calls their weekly Sunday brunches a “gastronomic delight” so we can just imagine that their Easter brunch is an event not to be missed. Held in the Terrace Restaurant, brunch runs from 11am-5pm.
Take your family to one of the Growth family of restaurants (www.growthrestaurants.com) in North Jersey. The Store in Basking Ridge, Willies Tavern in Bedminster, Fair Winds in Basking Ridge, Bamboo Grille in Basking Ridge, and Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph all have holiday menus, with the earliest seating at 9:30 at The Store and an Easter dinner menu at Willies Tavern.
Palmer Square in Princeton is a great place to spend the day with the family. Start with brunch at The Nassau Inn (www.nassauinn.com/dining/menus.html) and follow up with some window shopping around the historical plaza.
Another Central Jersey favorite is Stage Left in New Brunswick (www.stageleft.com/sl/wine/events). The popular “dinner and a show” restaurant is offering brunch from 11:30am-2:30pm and an a la carte dinner menu from 3:30pm-7pm. While you’re there, book tickets to an upcoming performance at The Sate Theater and get a discount coupon by joining our VIP Club.
Don’t wait until the summer months to hit the shore. The Engleside Inn on Long Beach Island (www.engleside.com/specials.html) has a brunch from 9am-2pm and if you decide to stay for an extended weekend, you can get the 4th night for only $25!
When you see the “Down the Shore” weekend package at the Avalon Golden Inn (www.goldeninn.com/specials.php), you’ll want to pack up the family and head to South Jersey for Easter. Saturday and Sunday breakfasts, a kids DJ party night, Mom and Dad get a separate room and can eat for FREE. Upgrade to the Easter brunch menu for an additional fee.
